Torre Escenica

Torre Escenica is a great site to visit for incredible views which stretch across the resort and looks out to sea. This trip offers you the chance to go up the tall tower features a large observation deck which acts like a lift and transports you to the top of the structure which is 80 metres above the ground.

There is a mulit-language recording played on the deck which gives you information all about the views aswell as information on Cancun and the surrounding areas.

This is a hospot for photographers due to the Panoramic veiws.

Torre Escenica rises up to 80 metres high & does a 360 degree turn at the top of this tower. This pod can hold up to 72 people at one time and is very busy during the high season.

Temple of the Warriors is located in Chichen Itza, This site is made up of four platforms and is surrounded by 200 columns and 324 carvings of soldiers who are ready for battle.

Temple of the Warriors is a open-air museum with a great chance for people to get some fantastic snaps on there camera.

Temple of the Warriors is 10 metres Tall and 40 metres.

This historic site is close to lots of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.

Open every day from 8am until 5.30pm.

These ruins are mixed between Mayan and Toltec influences.and was founded in the middle of the fifth century by mayansbu it was taken over by the Toltecs at one point around the year 900.

Parque Kabah is a very busy place for families during their holiday in Cancun. This huge ecological park covers 39 hectares of land and allows visitors to get in touch with the nature through jungle vegetation.

El Rey Ruins are where the past meets the present in the centre of Cancun’s large hotel zone. This archaeology site provides information about each part of this beautiful site in both Spanish and English. Aswell as there being ruins this site is also home to a number of large iguanas which you can feed if you bring fruit & veg.

The entrance price for adults is affordable and children go free.This archaeology site is a good trip for a families looking for an intresting day out.

El Rey Ruins has 47 structures which are estimated to have been inhabited by the mayans as early as the 900 AD.

El Rey was named fo the ceremonial mask and skulls found on this archaeology site to honor the mayan sun god.

The ruins are not that large in size but it is a great place to get some pictures of the popular iguanas, The Igauanas class these runins as there home and there are numarous amounts of them.

These animals are well looked after and they are unafraid of humans due to them being well-fed with tortilla’s.

These ruins are open from 8 AM – 5 PM everyday.

Adults cost 37 peso’s and children go free.

El Eden Ecological Reserve is the first private eco reserve dedicated to biodiversity conservation and research in Mexico.

El Eden Ecological Reserve gives you the chance to explore several ecosystems such as

  • Savannah wetlands

El Eden Ecological Reserve mission is to develop a research model for conservation, management and restoration of biodiversity, ecosystems & ecological processes of the mesoamerican tropical forest.

here you will be given the chance to take part in a class and learn lots about the site for a small fee.

Karaoke bars

Previously known as Pancho & Willy’s Captain’s Cove is one of the best bars in Cancun, Mexico for karaoke. The singing sessions begin every night after sunset, when visitors can choose between over 8,000 songs from the 50s through to today, including country hits and Spanish songs. Although the bar is open to everyone, only singers aged 18 and above are invited to sing.

La Cabaña is a small lobby bar open to guests aged 18+. There is a minor cover charge to pay on karaoke nights, but it’s more than worth it to be able to soak up the fantastic party atmosphere generated by the singers. La Cabaña can only seat 90 people at one time, making it a top choice for those who aren’t confident singing in front of large crowds.
